The garages in this list have been used by Puma owners for various work.

Your use of any of these garages/individuals named in this list is entirely at your own discretion and risk

The cambelt change interval on the 1.7 Puma engine changed in November 2004, it is now 5 years or 80,000 miles - whichever comes first

Make sure that the garage concerned has changed a 1.7 Puma cambelt previously, because getting it wrong means that your Puma will not run right, and this can be difficult to rectify afterwards, also they should have access to a cam locking tool, and remember that the FRP uses a different cam locking tool completely.

It is recommended that you use the:
Ford Cam Belt Kit (1.7) (inc. pre-tensioner unit & stretch bolt) - Finis Code 1203767

It can save money to have the auxiliary belt changed (at your own expense, as in you buy the belt and the garage changes it) at the same time as the cambelt - as the old auxiliary belt has to be removed to replace the cambelt.
A new rocker cover gasket is considered worthwhile too, as with reuse, the old gasket can sometimes leak after re-assembly.

The 1.4 and 1.6 Puma engines were not subject to any changes.

Depends how many the list will end up using?? some URL's on the list need to be renewed or deleted anyway, and to be honest, as long as you have the contact details, do you really need a URL as well??

List is sub-sectioned anyway, but URLS imo are not needed??

No problem maintaining list, as long as garages are put into servicing and repairs section, then report on work done included with garage contact details.

BAD garages wont make the list, but will remain in servicing/repairs section, to warn other owners.

I guess you don't need to be that computer savvy to look up a garages website should you need to. Google is your friend. k:
