Has anyone got a diagram showing the power steering pipework on a non aircon model

Thanks

I'd be interested in this too, although I'm gonna run aeroquip fittings on mine as a new ford pressure line is well over £100

What sort of thing are you both looking for...?

Is this any good...:

Yes and errm no lol. Firstly I was after a piccie to try and find the right hose and explain to members breaking cars what pipe I needed. And secondly to try and find an alternative as those ********* at Fords want over £100 for the pipe / hose I need.

I found a piccie now,its the longest looped one in the centre which in actual fact is probably two pipes mine looks like it came off the Titanic

Thanks for the diagrams for the horns they work a treat

I have an aeroquip adapter that goes in to the pas pump (adapts to an6 hose) I just need to know the thread on the fitting that goes in to the rack ( on the end of that central hose u mention) as for the pressure switch in gonna just chop it out as il be running a stand alone ecu anyway

Dont know if its any good to you but Ford sells the pipe ends seperately

The one to the pump is £10.28+vat finis no 6742740
The one to the rack is £6.87+vat finis no 6772172

Has anyone got a pic like this for the air-con version. Just found a badly patched hole in one of the metal parts near the sensor and need help with describing part to breakers, etc.

Thanks

I've done you a diagram and coloured it in for you

Gap at the top is the pump. Gap in the middle is the rack.

I'll clean it up and get a better photo in a bit.

Thanks for the pic, Ian. It's actually a big help as it is... I now know I need the bit between the pump and the rack. Gonna try and patch it up whilst I find a decent replacement... Have you got any yourself at the moment? ;)

That picture was taken live for your benefit, you're welcome to the one you can see

Let me clean it up and check for damage then I'll quote on it.

Better pics. Need to also check the prices against FINIS, don't want them costing more than they are new

Thanks for the better pics, I appreciate it. There's a few posts about having these hoses/pipes custom made by hydraulics specialists for about £40. Let me know how much you want and we'll take it from there.

Yes no problem, £15 all in.

Fantastic... Mine's just burst completely, Puma's off the road  ... payment on its way!

Just to confirm, it's this bit...
