Hi everyone, I decided to make this project thread for my "new" Moondust Puma. Going to keep this updated with further mods from now on. I bought it with 67k miles, 2nd owner and allways been kept in garage at night. There is really not much work on this one to restore. Only the arches will need repairs and have some inner rust but that's it really! By now I have already waxed all possible holes with Dinitrol so I am not too worried anymore. I post some pics here to see how good the inside floor and sills are! I was very surprised in a positive way.

Under the car it looked really good actually, just some surface rust which is so rare for a puma

Found some rust spots on the inner sills under the rear speakers, but really not much, sprayed it full with dinitrol ML and dinitrol 1000 topcoat

Hope all pics will be posted well, I am happy to share my project with you guys! Cheers

Love the car, looks very clean for the year.

I would love those seats, sadly we never got them in that colour in the UK

Thanks everyone, I will keep this up to date ! Next job will be fitting a new exhaust and brand new brake pipes.

Looking pretty good, Cossie wheels fit like a glove. Great progress!

I am from Belgium too,
but i don't have a puma anymore. sold it in november cause i couldn't bring up the money to repair al the bad points.
but at some point i will buy another one.
in my opinion the cossies are the best wheels for a puma

Hi in case you would buy another Puma, they are really cheap atm. Still a hard job to find a decent one. I went to see 2 other Puma's before I bought this one and they were both rust as hell under the sills etc..

Coilovers are not made for the Belgium roads... I was in Belgium last week and was once again shocked how many potholes there are on the motorway! Especially around Antwerpen.

Did you order those Puma mats from Ford? I'm looking for a set as well but haven't managed to ask it to Ford. Looking for a LHD set of course.

I've asked my Ford dealer today while I was there and as I expected the Puma mats were all in red in their system, meaning permanent out of stock.

In the meantime , sold my good old Fiesta which took me everywhere for some years, really a good car and never failed a single time!!
