Thank you everyone for you’re input I am this morning picking up my first ever Puma. It’s a millennium edition and I honesty can’t wait to drive it home. Cmon on team YELLOW !!!

That's great news....glad to hear you bought her.
Have fun on the way home, its a brilliant feeling embarking on a new adventure.
I fondly remember driving "Scarlett",my red 1998 Puma home from Rochester to Aberdeen, just shy of 700 miles. The weather was perfect. We had a few leisurely stops for food, fuel etc and had some of our favourite cd's playing. We even managed to get caught in a small Ford convoy on the A1M,a few Mk1&2 Fiestas,a Cortina,Mk2 Granada and some Escorts...a few appreciative nods were exchanged..it was fantastic
Keep us posted on your experiences with your new toy..there's a wealth of knowledge on these excellent little cars available here,so any queries you know where to come

That sounds like a fantastic experience. This is my first ford and I’m not going to be disappointed she’s a little enough round the edges but I’m looking forward to putting the work into her.

It's all part of the enjoyment of owning an old Ford,or any old car, fixing the niggles and issues that crop up along the way.
The attachment you get to the car is something that modern cars just don't give you....I've a real soft spot for the Puma..you can probably tell...LOL.

Another victim of "Pumaitis"....it's terminal!!
I'm chuffed you've discovered the joy of these little pocket rockets...they're an overlooked and forgotten gem...so don't tell everyone
Now all she needs is a name!! lol.

She's a little beauty,very nice
A name that instantly springs to mind is "whisky".....due to the numberplate  Absolutely nothing to do with the fact I''m Scottish and partial to the odd drop..hick! Lol.
