This should be a good read from the most enthusiastic puma owner 2007.

Let us have it!

Hi there, decided to start posting the mods which will be going onto the black Puma as they come along. Will try and fill in the gaps on the mods I did in the past :)

Anyway fora start, I removed the resonator in the puma's airbox. Hopefully it will imporve the response a little with more air in it. Might consider putting a motorized fan to "suck" force air into the engine there but I will do some read and research into that first :)

I completed the door handle mod, which I have been donig since a long long time ago :) Will post pics as I mount them today.

door handles sound interesting...

..i wouldn't bother with the fan unless you get something pretty hefty otherwise the benifit will be nomimal if existance and you'd just add weight to the car :)

Got up today at 9am and decided to start install the door handles before washing the puma.

I managed to get the door card off, and then I discovered that I had to get a load of stuff off.

got the window out to get to the locking mechnism out to get the handle out <_<

Anyway I managed to fit the new handles on

After connecting them up. Not very bright in the morning but hopefully things would look better at night :)

will post a view of it in the evening.

what about above your puma badge on your back window, or on the seat bases?

or take the puma badges off of the rear quarter windows and replace them with these :D

As I have always like things to be "balanced", I have decided to get down to fords to purchase a 2nd boot light module to install on the passengerside of the boot.

This is a very simple install as you will just have to splice into the existing boot light on the drivers side and wire it up and hide the wires neatly behind the boot trim.

part number of the boot light:

brighter and looks better now :)

Good one Elvin. Going to have to do that as my sub blocks out most of the light on the right.

as most of you know that the fiesta zs's steering is painted either blue or red, I have gotten hold of one and decided to paint it silver!!!

here it is:

will fit it tomorrow and see how it works (ie the grip and the paint rub resistance)

Thats not a bad idea elvin. Do you have to fit the bulb holder though?

there is no bulb holder. the grey part holds the bulb and it attaches onto the under side of the passenger side rear trim in the boot. there is a hole there for it.
