I am considering selling mine to finance a Citroen CX project...

It is a 2001 Y 1.7 Lux in medium steel blue. Just under 80,000 miles. Loads and loads of history.

In my time with it I've had the bodywork sorted which cost me £2k. That was for new sills, rear arch repair and new front wings. The shell is completely rust free now.

New front and rear shocks, new front lower arms, new track rod ends, new top mounts and bearings. New rear Polybushes in the rear beam.

FRP engine map, 4-2-1 exhaust manifold and a decent catalyst to make it MoT friendly. Hoffman rear box

FRP airbox mod

+20mm spacers on rear beam

ST150 front brake upgrade, new Flexi hoses all round, copper pipes at rear

Interior is taken from a Millennium, so it's blue leather Recaros including matching door cards.

Air con regassed last summer. Heated screen working perfectly.

If I am being picky there are some stone chips on the bonnet, and a couple of chips on the mirrors. I replaced the bumpers with ones taken from a very nice low mileage car so they are mint like most of the rest of the car.

I am looking for £3000 for this. MoT is due April I think but I would happily put it through now for full price.

Search my posts (grogee) and you will see loads of pics.

I am in Southam, Warwickshire but often travel to Devon and Lincolnshire.

Circumstances have changed and I have to sell this now. I'm broken hearted but it's got to go. Just done cam belt. Almost everything is new.

You could buy a rotten one for £1000 and spend £2000 on bodywork, or you could buy this one that's already been done with new sills, front wings and rear arch sections. Inner rear arches fixed too. Painted and waxoyled to death underneath.

Check out the threads, there are loads of pics.

It's done 80k miles now and the price is non-negotiable: £3k or no car. It'll be worth £4k next year and £5k the year after. I'm horrified to see it go but life has got in the way and I need to make way. PM me for more details or a viewing. I'm in Southam, Warks.

Having seen the car a few times, I can say that it's well worth the money, no expense has been spared, it's absolutely lovely.
Sorry that you have to sell it, I'm sure that you'll regret it.
