Hello,
in Lithuania we have a thing called mini rally, its basically the same as rally, but it's shorter, and requires much less of safety equipment.
As a puma lover , I tought that we can make a perfect mini rally car out of this. SO WE DID
My puma has a stock suspension, stock engine, stock everything. Except the front brake disc is from Focus st, and the support is from ford mondeo. We just made it to the first 2022 event. And we didn't finish it.
My clutch couldn't handle my mistake over the jump. I being a dumba** tought it would be a great idea, to switch gear from 3 to second in almost max rpm over the jump ....
So basically we are going to race all season with our puma, 5 rallies, over 35 kilometers of gravels stages, so wish us luck ..
The puma has been modified with Roll bar, and bucket seats with harnesses.
Off topic question.. How can I improve my torque without spending a lot of money, or someone maybe have expierence in rally, maybe you could give some advice how to make the car more stable, or more competitive in rally ...
Thank you all Puma lovers
