    Headlight adjuster not doing anything

I don't think you'll find any relevant information on this forum, as its for the original Puma's manufactured from 1997 to 2002. Try something like https://www.pumaforums.co.uk/

Vehicle Wanted Looking for a Puma to take rallying! (Any model/variant)

I found my last one on eBay, went to view it and found it was very solid underneath, they put it over and inspection pit, so made an offer that was accepted, the other 2 were just chance encounters, one was me just admiring the car in a supermarket car park.

Vehicle Wanted Looking for a Puma to take rallying! (Any model/variant)

Good luck, hope you can find a suitable car. My friend Kevin Leek uses a Puma for Targa rallies, he's on his 2nd. one, the first had terminal rust, so that's something to be aware of. Prices are all over the place, there is usually quite a few on Facebook marketplace and specific Puma selling...

    Rotten E10 fuel

Be aware that there are 3 different types of fuel pump/sender units, which if the wrong one is fitted will cause the fuel gauge to read incorrectly, when I had the Thunder the previous owner had fitted the wrong unit and the fuel gauge wouldn't go below 3/4's , luckily he'd given me the original...

    MOT test pass certificates axed:

If you're at Hooky next weekend, I'll introduce you to him, he's a really great guy and a very good friend, but anything with modern technology, he's lost, I've offered to show him what to do, but he just isn't interested.

    Rotten E10 fuel

Have you checked that the fuel pump is working ? Apparently a common failure after a time of no use. You should be able to hear it for a couple of seconds when you turn on the ignition. You can check if fuel is getting to the fuel rail, by depressing the Schrader valve on the left hand side of...

    MOT test pass certificates axed:

Apparently then you can still ask for a paper certificate, which is good for some of my friends who don't do anything online at all, one of my friends, who is only 5 years older than me, can't even make a call on his mobile phone and I have to book his tickets for shows, order parts for him etc...

Cam belt change Ford Puma 1.7 16valve X754 ROF

That's something I've thought about as well, luckily the one I purchased for my Quantum was Ok, the guy fitting it checked it and it was fine.

Cam belt change Ford Puma 1.7 16valve X754 ROF

I managed to get an old stock Gates kit for my Quantum 2+2, the guy who fitted it said that it was fine, he did a really thorough job, on my last Quantum a so called Ford specialist did a terrible job and charged nearly 3 times more !

Cam belt change Ford Puma 1.7 16valve X754 ROF

I have been told by several mechanics, that Gates belts are not the quality they used to be. One guy had one break after a few days and had to replace a complete engine at his expense, he no longer does cambelt changes, he'd been using Gates belts for over 30 years and like most of us regarded...

Engine feels clogged and slow + high idle

Great to hear you've sorted it, well done.

Rusty fuel tank - salvageable or need to replace?

I've used rust converter, followed by zinc primer, normal primer then a decent top coat on rusty bits over the years, seems to last a reasonable time, out of sight stuff under the car l, I then coat with Bilt Hamber under body wax.
