    Paintwork on roof and bonnet

Hiya, Is it a common problem that the paintwork on the roof and bonnet go like someone has had a scouring pad on it? When I bought my Puma 3 years ago the paintwork was near perfect but over time the roof has gone like someone's been at it with a scouring pad - even feels very rough and the...

    Washer Bottle

Like many Puma owners I have removed the rear wash wipe. I have also removed the motor and more recently the hose that runs across the roof (before sound proofing the roof) and now I want to remove the hose entirely off the washer bottle. Now this is not a problem - easy job to do whilst...

incorrectly assembled / fitted rear suspension

Lets say for arguements sake that one of my rear suspension struts / springs was incorrectly assembled and then fitted; Would the rod of the strut not be secure and would this strut affect the handling of the car and put more pressure on the remaining struts to the point that one of the front...

    New Rear Suspension

Mountney sent me a new set of GAMX suspension to replace the "faulty" suspension that I had to return for them to test. Fitted the new suspension today - so I just want to run this past you to see if we have done anything wrong: The fronts have been fitted – strut / added spring / added top...

    What Other Engines

Hi All, What other engines (if at all any) can be put into a Ford Puma other than a Ford Engine? Alternatively what are the best things to do to a Ford Puma to increase BHP to say approx 180-200? regards,

From a manufacturers warranty perspective - What is "used beyond it’s limits" when it comes to standard sports suspension?

    Adjustable Drop Links

When I had my suspension replaced earlier this year, I bought all the parts required including new standard length drop links. I see on here that the use of adjustable drop links is required - yet the company that I bought the suspension from claims that I do not require shortened or adjustable...

    New Suspension

With new shocks and springs replaced (front and rear) - when I push down on front beam of the car - should I be able to compress the shocks & springs (and if so, by how much) or should they be pretty solid?

    roof recommendations

The previous owner(s) of my Puma obviously used the car wash to clean the car - thus the roof in some places is scratched down to primer. I have looked at posts on here re: having the roof resprayed but are the other options just as good i.e. foil wrapping or foliotecs rubber / silicone spray...

    noticed a leak

When I fitted the cold air feed hose last week I noticed that where the gearbox meets the engine, it was quite oily (bearing in mind that I had the clutch replaced a few weeks previously) - I wondered if it was from that. So I degreased it and no more leak. Today after a 70 mph blast up the...

My old horn died so i bought a new one (aftermarket). The new horn has two spade connectors on it as opposed to the old Ford OEM one. I have had to relocate the new horn as it interfered with the cold air feed hose - but the new horn has no sound. Do I have to send power to both spades or do...
