Hi
i want to change my air flow meter and i want to hnow if a ford Fiesta or ford Ka air flow meter will work on my puma. The same question for the idle control valve.
Thx

im having the same issues at the moment.

ford dealership want £54 for the AFM and £104 for the ICV.

i bought an ICV off ebay for about £25 and then a AFM for £40.

the AFM has a part number on the side so check that and if there the same then you will be ok..

I have a KA AFM downstairs and its way to small to be the same as my 1.7.

Why you changing?

I have problems when very little speed, the engine tends to drown(cuts of) and the needle from speedo dash falls so very hard when i change gear and the engine stay speed

one last question, what shoud i do to see if my air flow meter works?
I have removed the cable from the air flow sensor and the engine had no problem , he was working like usually.
theat means that he is not working ????

It's an air flow meter. Go out for a drive / rev the engine and see if it's still ok as if it's not, it won't know how much air is going into the engine and not be able to match the injectors flow rate with fuel.
