door warning light

hi my door warning light keeps coming on i know its the boot contacts that are at fault just had a look at both of them and look clean but now the light just keeps on all time any ideas? :-(

How did you narrow it down the boot?

Bonnet switch is also common.

because when the light on if i press the boot down i went off and now its on all time?

If it was like mine there a white bit on the lock (as you lock down into the boot its on the right of the lock) it needed pushing in. See the pic on this link my post 2nd from bottom. http://www.projectpuma.com/viewtopic.php?f=21&t=14456" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
