ID this sensor please

This sensor on the left, i.e. the plug (the prongs have snapped on mine) and can anyone recommend a wire cover for this? Mine literally disintegrated.

Could you be more specific? If you are reffering to the connector next to the oil fill opening, that is the connector for the VCT solenoid, it is not a sensor.

When I take off the rocker cover, the VCT solenoid sits an inch or two from the cams. I am talking about the connector.
The plastic thing that should snap on top has broke (it fits but not doesn't clip in). Also the plastic conduit from that to the t-junction (can I use a normal plastic covering for protection)?

I would call IanG. Most probably he has the complete engine loom for you to replace and avoid any if's and but's later...
