What does a bad Cat sound like? Done some research and I came up with..."a cat will fail when unburnt fuel burns up inside" or something like that. Would it sound like "PAPER/CARD IN A FAN" when it's fvcked? If it is I'll fit a decat.

There's no definitive it sounds like this or it sounds like that, best way to find out is to test it by either getting it emissions test, should be foc at a vosa station, or by testing it with the onboard lambda's and a scanner/graph read out

It just passed an MOT and the emissions passed fine. No discrepancies.

The noise is getting worse as time goes on without any real difference to performance of the car...
