Right chaps and chapettes, ive recently bought a set of milli seats and would like to get them fitted asap.
My question is will they be a straight swap with no buggering about on my 2000 "X" reg? Or will i have to swap pre tensioners, add top hats??? Ive done a search and any info seems to have confused me further  ?
Thanks peoples.

As far as I remember, the Recaros need the top hat spacers if your car doesn't have them.

Good post here by evilrob - http://www.pumapeople.com/forum/index.php?showtopic=107055

It's worth swapping the pretensioners over as I believe that there are lots of different revisions that match up with the Airbag/pretensioner ECU. For the sake of removing the one bolt holding them in, you may as well swap them.

I've got a Sept 2000 X plate and the Millie seats went in as a straight swap, pretensioners and all. You do need the top hats though and the carpet doesn't follow the seat covers and runners the same

I tried fitting leather seats from a younger puma (2001) into my older Puma (1997) some time ago.
If u just make some minor cuts in the carpet around the rear bolts you can take of the two frames where the old seats are mounted on. Then you can mount the newer seats, at least, more or less.. i still had the impression they didn't fit very well in place; I think it would need some kind of spacers on the doorside bolt too between the carpet and seat.
So I guess it should work with some 'finetuning' :) but tbh, i removed them immediately after, since i prefer the old seats, i like them better, just looking out for some Recaros to fit in atm.
