What is this wire?

Found this wire under the carpet in the passenger footwell, the one end you see is not connected to anything and I'm not sure whether the other end is...I tried tugging it but it's tight as if it is connected and I cant see where it goes as my carpet will only pull back so far.

Any idea what it's for?

Looks like an audio type cable to me maybe for cd changer or something or even an aerial? Just guessing though

That connector is for a cell phone antenna, looks like there has been fitted once,
I had one in mine, as I have a small rectangular plate stuck to the windscreen to the left of the tax disk.
