Gingerdave,
I'll hang on to the FRP for a bit longer thanks !
As well as the usual gleaming and expensive exotics (the Lambo stood out rather well !), there were a lot of decent, proper, cars there as well - some very tidy 'real' Minis arrived as a group, Heralds, TR's, MGs, Escorts, Anglias etc etc. I'm afraid our Focus Estate doesn't cut the mustard.
Sadly, very few Pumas seem to turn up to the Breakfast Club (BC), and to date I have never seen a single FRP when I've been there. However, I don't get to all the BCs as they often conflict with competitive events elsewhere - even the MAC's own events (June's BC conflicts with the MAC's Anglesey sprint, and October's with the Curborough sprint).
The March BC (8/3/15) coincides with the "Sporting Trial" to be held on the wooded slopes of the main Shelsley car park (they look like bathtubs with an engine and four wheels, with folk bouncing up and down in them) - so that will provide something entertaining to see whilst there.
I'd love to see a few Pumas there on a regular basis. If it looks like a few might go as a group, they/I can always let the organisers know and arrange for them to park in the paddock area (so long as someone tells me about it).
