Gingerdave,

Thank you !

You are a bloomin' saviour and a properly honest bloke.

I am suitably content now that I am merely just one of the youngsters here !

But you don't fancy passing your FRP over to me?.Popped up to Shelsley Walsh this morning .Didn't see any other Pumas there. Were something very shiny Ferraris there though.Look as if they have never been used

Gingerdave,

I'll hang on to the FRP for a bit longer thanks !

As well as the usual gleaming and expensive exotics (the Lambo stood out rather well !), there were a lot of decent, proper, cars there as well - some very tidy 'real' Minis arrived as a group, Heralds, TR's, MGs, Escorts, Anglias etc etc. I'm afraid our Focus Estate doesn't cut the mustard.

Sadly, very few Pumas seem to turn up to the Breakfast Club (BC), and to date I have never seen a single FRP when I've been there. However, I don't get to all the BCs as they often conflict with competitive events elsewhere - even the MAC's own events (June's BC conflicts with the MAC's Anglesey sprint, and October's with the Curborough sprint).

The March BC (8/3/15) coincides with the "Sporting Trial" to be held on the wooded slopes of the main Shelsley car park (they look like bathtubs with an engine and four wheels, with folk bouncing up and down in them) - so that will provide something entertaining to see whilst there.

I'd love to see a few Pumas there on a regular basis. If it looks like a few might go as a group, they/I can always let the organisers know and arrange for them to park in the paddock area (so long as someone tells me about it).

We saw the Sebring Sprite - very nice. There is one that competes in hillclimbs, but I don't think it's a Midlands car as it doesn't appear in this area very often. I think the last time I saw it was up at Harewood hillclimb at the "Montague Burton" SHSC round
