Frp occasionally unwilling to rev. up

Hi Guys, car occasionally runs Flat!, when trying to accelerate. Car will be running fine delivering power when asked ,then it will not want to rev up and supply. If I shut off the ignition and switch it back on again the problem goes away, but it will return again. Would appreciate any suggestions.

    Average age for Frp owners?

Not quite Mike, you just ran into a 67 year old. Rummer has it ----, its a lot cheaper to run than a 'young thing', a lot more fun, and never 'nags' at you. Willie
