    I just looked at the ones under the bonnet - I'll have a look at the other one and replace them. Hopefully it is one of those fuses. Thanks for that! It is only my second time of trying to fix anything in the car myself, hopefully I'll be a budding mechanic this time next year!

    Constant hot air from the blower

    I managed to get a new HCV and it is still blowing hot air, so I guess it is time to look at the panel. Though when I replaced it looked in a terrible state, so it was probably best to change it. The connection had some melted plastic. And the hose clips were a nightmare!

    I'm pretty good at DIY so I should be able to do it. I'll replace the hcv and see if that works. Maybe I'll be brave enough to investiagte further myself it that doesn't solve the problem! Thanks for the advice! :grin:
