I did say in my original posting that I am in Milton Keynes (concrete cow and roundabout city!) Just looking for someone competant and willing to do the engine swap.

My Puma is dead. Her last gasp was all steam (head gasket/warped head). Stupid quotes of £700-£800 prompted me to purchase (gulp!) a replacement engine, and now I'm being quoted £400 to swap the engines. Can anyone help/advise?

Hi y'all Am now the proud(?) owner of a 1999 1.7 Puma and already have problems (more to follow). She's dark blue, has the common rusty (buggered) rear wheel arches and she is currently dead. See my posts elsewhere for more detail. Luv & Kisses Dave (Mr Hopeful)
