    thanks for the replies, mate collected it on his trailer and took it away, got it back couple hours later fixed.. turns out it was the crank sensor that had broken, they go all of a sudden and wont allow fuel to flow at all, cost me £40 so not too bad, mate told me they are a gegular fault on...

    still no joy :( had it fully serviced when bought back end of last year and aint had pick of bother, its always started first time no matter hot or frozen over aint dragging bike out as its wet, guess she getting stood up :-/ Andy

    idle speed

    ive noticed that my idle speed seems to take a little while to drop down to 1k even when warmed up say im rolling to a stop and i push into neutral it stays and at timea raises to 1.5/1.75k before dropping back down, and it wont drop down at all if the car is moving even when in traffic moving...

    yeah its that birtley near washington :D spoke to mate and he also said the back ones are a pig to change, not expensive to buy but a pain to change, i got a canny deal with it as basically got money back for the car i put in for it the garage replaced the cd player with one from a newer...

    bought with no history so wanted to be sure nowt was gonna "go" , mate done full service and once over, needs back bushes changed as there perished, (common fault aparentley?) couple little bits need doing but thats gonna be the same with any car thats 9yr old
