    MOT fail

    Advisories will stay on unless you get them sorted as well. I had an advisory on mine this year, slight damage to both nearside wheels. Puma failed on leaky rear shock and faulty headlamp adjustment. Fixed the shock and headlamp and still had advisory for wheels. Hope that helps?

    horn wiring

    There is only a live wire going to the horn. The bracket holding the horn acts as the earth when bolted to the car. Might be worth cleaning up the bracket and mounting position to get a good earth. Horns are pretty cheap if it is U/S.

    Better to pay £55 from the council than when I took mine to TCH in Huntingdon, they were charging half price for the MOT, good deal I thought! Failed mine because they could not adjust the offside headlight and wanted to charge me £300 for a new unit!!! A quick five minutes with DAL and a 10mm...
