i can get the ecu remapped at fords so my keys work thats not a problem, its a 1.7, i'll have to find out what the code is today, the code is TAPE, would be great if someone out there had 1.

water leak from bulk head into cab caused ecu to get wet, may need a new one, part number is 98BP12A650/KA does the ecu need to be exactly the same number? really need help with this asap, my numbers 07540861067, be a real help if someone could get in touch asap, thanks

had it in fords in braintree for 3 days and theyve finally come back and told me that its been caused by a water leak from the main wiring from the bulk head into cab, the water has gotten into the ecu, its currently being dried out buy big fan heaters to dry out water, if not i need a new ecu...

got a puma 1.7, the thing keeps revving up, drives itself, have had the throttle bodies and idle control valve cleaned but the thing keeps doing it, anyone have any ideas, im no mechanic so if you can help please write in a way i'd understand, cheers,
