got the car back yesterday after having a new clutch and 2nd hand box, all seems well. running a focus all week so i'll leave the puma till the weekend because its filthy and then have a blitz on it!

got a box this weekend, ordered an LUK clutch probably change the slave cylinder/release bearing aswell, clutch was on the to do list for the next few months so the gearbox has just forced my hand a little

changed the hcv a few weeks ago and cured it, £27 all in from ford, now the gearbox has given up the ghost! happy days!

just an update its the selectors in the box have given up the ghost, so £30 wasted on a linkage but live and learn, could strip the old box and replace broken parts but decided its easier to but another box, going to have a look on ebay now unless anyones got one lying around? i take it the...

linkage has come today so we're going to do battle tomorrow anybody ever done one? any tips? need to do it as she aint liking any bypasses with only four gears and made the mistake of going into a dead end last night and no reverse made me look very silly pushing the car back out

got up this morning and the puma wont go in 5th or reverse is anything common? linkage or cables? all the others are fine just 5th and reverse
