Update; The to do list; Knocking Front Suspension New Drivers Side Taillight (cracked) Sort a juddering/stalling problem - This actually sorted itself, did it twice and then hasn't happened since! Remedy leaky footwells - Still needs sorting although the leak isn't nearly as bad as I first...

Well the interior light works just fine with the drivers door, but doesn't do anything on the passenger side, could that point to a dodgy switch that side setting off the alarm?

Which clarion head unit is it?

Just had a chance to check the box out, it is indeed disconnected, plugging it back in immediately sounded the alarm, so I panicked and disconnected it again! Is that normal, and if so how would I cancel it properly?

Yeah probably a good idea to get it properly sorted! Will have a look at the alarm control unit, was trying to work out where it was, cheers for pointing it out. Is a replacement dear from Ford?

It appears my alarm has been disconnected by the previous owner as it was playing up and going off all the time. To be honest I'm not that bothered about the alarm itself, but i do want to get my Remote Central Locking working, does anyone know if the RCL needs the alarm to work?

Does sound slightly different to my issue, in any case a trip mechanic's has yielded no answers for me!

Thank's for all the welcome messages guys. The photo is shot in a little place called Groombridge, decent driving roads around it. My progress with the car so far, aside from enjoying it, has been ordering stuff. Got myself some roof sealant to prevent leaking, bushes ready to be fitted and...
