Yes Red, both map lights and main interior light is working

Yes, garage is an engine specialist ( rebuilds etc ) and they only ever use genuine parts

Just had the HCV replaced and now have lovely hot air problem is cant turn it down, stills blows hot on cold setting ?? Also any idea where temp gauge sender is, it never moves off cold cheers

Grrrr had it in garage and thermostat fine lol just had replaced the HCV and pollen filiter ( filter was black so obviously never been done) and now have hot air....however now cant turn heat down, blows hot even when turned to cold also anyone know where the temp gauge sender is ?? coolant...

Further to my post regerding the thermostat looks like i going to be changing the temp sender :evil: Looking at it am i right in thinking the coil pack needs taking off to get access to it ? then unclip, unscrew sender and replace ? Looks like my wifes little treat for herself is gonna make...

Unplugged temp sensor and fan didnt come on so that could have died too :cry: Yes pipes on other side of HCV are both hot and why do you need hands the size of a 3 yr old to get to anything haha :grin:

Part 2 lol The top radiator hose gets hot to touch, radiator is luke warm to touch , right hand pipe on thermostat housing is hot left hand side cold ( comes from/to radiator ? ) water in header tank is hot and pipe coming from there to radiator is hot, both pipes for the HCV are hot Car still...

You do still get a piece of paper though to say it has passed, even if it looks like you have just printed it at home lol It also saves VOSA a shed load of money on paper
