Well was thinking of upgrading to a Toyota vvti but found my self buying a 99 frp blue 1.7 puma yep number two, owner though the gear box had gone as new clutch was fitted and lost 5th and r gear, and snapped the new slave bleed nipple so got it for £200 11 months mot and 6 months tax....result!!

Well my og back box needs replaceing but I would like a little more noise, but not too much so I would like to try out a sports exhaust, before decision making, any cheap back boxes out there?

Whats the best and simplest engine to swap for the ztech s 1.7?

Pushed the puma a little hard round a s bend today, as I expected the back end was everywhere!! Do the rear spacers work? The prehub spacers!

well I would like the puma to sound a little better, but I dont want it to sound like a old spitfire!! Im thinking of just replaceing the mid section of the exhaust for a ebay hoffman mid section with the normal back box, has any one tried this? if so how loud is it? and what does it sound like?

Well I had the o/s of the car jacked up for 24 hours, after dropping it back to the floor I seem to had a knocking noise coming from the antiroll bar, (o/s) im 99% sure it's not the drop link and the d bush looks ok! Are the any common problems with the antiroll bars? Regards

Well Ive seen that alot of people have a problem with the p1383 code once the timing belt has changed due to the cvt not being put back to the resting postion, due to the oil not being removed from the phaser pulley, in turn this does not allow the gearing inside to move back to its resting...

Well.... replaced my timing belt and the weekend, all went well, still woundering why ford had a fasination with floating pulleys :evil: , I found I lost a very small amount of power, mostly at low rmp I believe, I was woundering if anyone else has had this problem? Im thinking it might the old...
