    Door/window seals

Morning all, I've noticed recently that my car has a habit of steaming up almost constantly. I tend to turn on air con and air recirc to clear it. However, could it possibly be down to some of the seals perishing? If so, how easy (or otherwise) is it to replace them? Ta muchly, Steve

Never intended it to be a project

Morning all, I have to admit that when I bought my Puma I never intended to turn it into a project. All I was looking to do was have the rust sorted. However, I am now thinking of swapping my cloth trim for leather, installing the steering column radio controls, having the engine re-mapped and...

    Swapping seats

Hi all, I know seats have been covered here before but I have a (slightly) different question. I currently have cloth seats but after my bank account has recovered from Christmas I'd like to switch them for leather seats. Bearing in mind it's a straight swap I was wondering how easy (or...

    Sudden clutch problems

Morning all, When I set off this morning all was well, but when pulling away from a set of lights I hit a hole in the road and now the clutch is slipping like mad. There was no sign of it until then. Could it be the jolt has had something to do with it (as it started slipping immediately) or...

    Puma Prices

Morning all, A firend has a 2003 MINI which is in the garage (again) and she mentioned I'd just purchased a Puma. Apparently the guy reckons that now is the time to buy as he seems the think that prices aer slowly going up. Has anyone else heard this? What are your thoughts.

    Front bumper

Morning all, On washing my Puma I've noticed that the front bumber has come away slightly where it meets the wings. I realise it's probably the result of a (hopefully) minor bump. Having checked under the bonnet all the panels are straight so it can't have been much. Daft question though, is...

    Bodyshop in Southend-on-Sea area

Morning all, I pick up my (first) Puma next Friday and it has some rust on the rear arches. As I'm not confident enough of doing a good job myself, can anyone recommend a decent bodyshop in the Southend-on-Sea area? Thanks all, Steve

    Looking for a Puma

Hi all, I've joined this site as I'm looking to buy a Puma. I currently own a series 3 Mondeo Ghia X which is very nice BUT my partner has a Meriva and we don't need 2 practical cars. Needless to say I offered to swap as I've always fancied a Puma. My budget isn't huge (£1,000 - £1,200) but...
