    tbh I wouldn't use gasket sealant with a new rocker gasket, overkill and may cause future sealing issues. just make sure the matting surfaces are clean and free of debris. use a small bit of clean oil on both surfaces before replacing the gasket, this can stop the gasket sticking when removing...

    just to put my penneth in, yes you have a leak in the rad, that is going to stop your coolant system pressurising properly(along with the bodged header tank), guy who had previous may have put in radiator sealant, did you see orange sediment in the coolant hoses ? also did you bleed properly ...

    vibration through the wheel is horrific when accelerating hard.... she recently passed her mot so that rules out the wheel bearings what cv joints fit the 1.7 or are they common item on the puma ? thanks for the feedback, will get the cv joints off and check them out
