2.1 Zetec Turbo - The Yella' Fella' (Videos and Dyno pg7)

Looking great there bud! I may use black as the base colour and then when I eventually get the FRP kit, have it wrapped in a different colour. I like the stealth look black has but also like white or red which are both quite rare. I did enquire about a S1600 kit, I cant remembet the exact...

2.1 Zetec Turbo - The Yella' Fella' (Videos and Dyno pg7)

Hi mate, I was looking to go for a hp figure of somewhere between 300-400 with a Duratec 2.0 engine, the reason why for such a broad estimate is due to not experiencing a Puma with similar hp. A mixture of road and track but I am positive of turboing it as I prefer being able to have the power...

    Puma RS Turbo (CVH)

Looking good there mate :-) , are you fitting all the other FRP parts i.e. driveshafts, wishbones, hubs and spacers aswell as I am planning on doing the same on a black puma but the external costs do seem a bit extreme but I guess it is worth it in the end. Kind Regards, Puma555.

Ford Puma 1.7 16V: Tuning guidence needed for 200-300hp!

Thats good to hear! How much would one cost and what models have them? Would I need a different diff, if so which one? Kind Regards, Puma555.

    MTX75 Gearbox conversion

How much hp/lbft could a 'standard' MTX75 handle and also are the MTXs from a MK1 Focus RS better in the sense that they could handle more power? How much are these gearboxes usually and would you need a different diff to suit a 1.7? Kind Regards, Puma555.

    First trackday in Puma

Whats the spec and how much hp is it running, it sounds nice with the spooling and chatter noises! Kind Regards, Puma555.

Ford Puma 1.7 16V: Tuning guidence needed for 200-300hp!

So can MTX75 handle well over the guided 200hp? As I wouldnt want to replace my box with one that will just about handle the power and run the risk of it going. Are the gearboxes from a MK1 Focus RS stronger than other MTX75's? Kind Regards, Puma555.

Ford Puma 1.7 16V: Tuning guidence needed for 200-300hp!

I looked up at that gearbox and it said that it can only cope within 150-200hp according to this: http://www.sico-developments.co.uk/products/mk6-fiesta-st-mtx75-gearbox-conversion" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; So does that mean that if I was to aim for around 220hp then this...

Ford Puma 1.7 16V: Tuning guidence needed for 200-300hp!

Thanks for that. Do you think the prices from Lightning Motorsport are fair or could the parts be sourced for much less? How much HP can the 1.7 gearbox handle as well as the Racing Puma? Will I neeed to spend thousands on gear sets afterwards or are there boxes from other models that can...

Ford Puma 1.7 16V: Tuning guidence needed for 200-300hp!

Hi everyone, I have been a fan of pumas for a while now and especially the Racing Puma. Although the prices for the Racing Pumas are quite high at the moment at around £5-6k. I could afford one but I know that I would not be particularly happy with the power level. So my alternative is to...
