    WANTED: COILOVERS or SHOCK ABSORBERS

Decent set of either Coilovers or shock absorbers (for lowered springs) wanted. The rears need to be the older fork type, however if you have just the fronts for sale it may help. Preferably Midlands area as I'd like to collect (60 mile radius of ST17 ?) Tel: 01785 660781

Advice please on removing Puma 1.7 front wishbone CARRIERS

No, have earlier version of Fiesta manual but also have the Ka manual which I thought would be the same. However, after closer inspection I see that what appeared to be separate 'carriers' from the underside are in fact part of one integral subframe.

Advice please on removing Puma 1.7 front wishbone CARRIERS

It sounds as if - despite the Puma being Fiesta / Ka based - this part of its construction is rather different. I've been looking at the idea of buying something like this to quickly saw through the corroded wishbone bolt...

Advice please on removing Puma 1.7 front wishbone CARRIERS

FRP SOLID TYPE WISHBONE REAR BUSH FOR £6.46 (?)

Alongside the standard 'softer' Puma rear wishbone bush with the void gaps, I notice that Halfords also sell an FRP type solid rubber bush for only £6.46 ('OCAP' brand - see link below). This seems a really good price - has anyone used these ...

Lower wishbone rear bush: FRP or Powerflex ?

Puma lower wishbone rear bush - are there any advantages one way or the other in using the FRP bush instead of the Powerflex polyurethane type ? Assume the FRP bush is rubber. Is there a detectable difference in road noise / handling / ride / ease of fitting ? Thank you for any responses.

Strange 'geiger counter' buzz after rear wheel cylinders/sho

I recently changed the rear wheel cylinders and brake shoes on my '98 1.7 Puma. I bled the system and everything works fine. However, I've noticed that when applying the brakes at low speeds (maybe it occurs at higher speeds too but I just can't hear it !) I can hear a faint electrical (?)...
