Big Car Youtube Series: Familiar Car

I would recommend the channel, some really great videos. Funnily enough I work in the factory where the capri was made.

Big Car Youtube Series: Familiar Car

I always remember the GGS number plate, I always used to think of Quagmire from Family Guy

Big Car Youtube Series: Familiar Car

There is a youtube channel called Big Car, hes just a bloke who makes videos about various cars. Examples include 'The Ford Escort Story' 'The Mini Story' etc etc. I always enjoy watching his videos, they are well researched and informative, and the bloke is quite funny. So I was watching the...

    FRP style splitter

I have took a couple of photos of the splitter. There are no identifying marks on it that I can see. Its got like a metal bolt at either end. splitter2 by Matthew Melia, on Flickr splitter1 by Matthew Melia, on Flickr

    FRP style splitter

The brackets for holding it up in the middle, where can I get a couple of them? I got a splitter from someone on facebook last year. I have removed the valance and am just weighing up attaching it, but I dont have any brackets.

    Boot Spoiler

I promised myself when I got this Puma I would leave it standard. This spoiler however is just too nice, I love how it is only connected at the sides. I bought it late last year from ebay, it was the last one on there so thought it was now or never. It was fairly easy to fit, just that moment...

    Icon Review: Ford Puma Mk1 (1997 - 2002) | Auto Express

I actually saw one on the road in Warrington on Saturday night, a silver one. It was spitting and I was thinking "nooo, don't drive it in the rain!" And also saw a silver one parked in in Widnes yesterday. I've made a note of where abouts it was and will make a trip that way every now and again...

    Icon Review: Ford Puma Mk1 (1997 - 2002) | Auto Express

Its been a while since i've seen one out on the road. I pass one in North Wales on a car park each time I got my parents caravan. Its covered in moss and doesnt look like its moved in years, along with a StreetKa next to it. It looks complete though

    Icon Review: Ford Puma Mk1 (1997 - 2002) | Auto Express

Its such a strange thing. The car never got the recognition it deserved in its life-time, despite glowing reviews. I often wonder if they had done something with 200hp+ would it of been viewed differently.

    LED Tail-lights

Boy is my face red. So I go to the car to replace the failed bulb. As I am twisting it, it comes back on. Turns out its not making a great connection. There was a bit of corrosion on the bulb contacts. Gave them a little scrape with a knife and were good to go. Just wish I had checked this last...

    LED Tail-lights

These are what I have got fitted. I tried philips ones before these and the same thing happened Amazon Link

    My Puma

I think its a typo, should be creasing on the bumpers?

    LED Tail-lights

I am not great with electrics beyond wiring plugs and such. I do have a multimeter (I was middle-aisled in aldi) but I wouldn't have a clue how to measure with it. My thinking is there is enough power going to the light for a traditional bulb, but led bulbs use a fraction of that so maybe its...

    LED Tail-lights

I have changed the lights on the back of the car to LED ones. I got some cheap ebay ones at first but they kept failing, so got some osram ones first then some philips ones. The reverse and indicator lights are fine (I reversed the wires as instructed) however the stop/tail lights keep failing...

    Under cover at last

Back in the day when I had my original puma, I worked in a library and would just sit on here all day. It was great  I don't go on the pc that much these days. Need to rectify that, this is a great forum. So yeah really pleased with the shed. It's only just big enough, probably less...

    Under cover at last

Hey all, not been on here much this year. I need to make more effort. I have just finished a little project I have been working on. On the side of my house I have a lean-to type thing. It originally had just a small door with a concrete post in the middle. I have been working on it...

    B.F Goodrich Tyres

I tried the doing it yourself thing and it just fades. I got a pen from 'tyrepenz', took the wheels off one at a time and did them carefully on the kitchen table. My car does less than 1000 miles a year and even with that its all faded away.

    B.F Goodrich Tyres

I am really big on tyre writing. "BF Goodrich Radial T/A" on a tyre is awesome to me. I Found a UK company that stocks them. The closest size they do to the puma is 195/60/15. That would fit wouldn't it? But maybe look a bit too big? I was watching stranger things and the lad in that with a...

    Unusual first post: help required

I used to have a Grand C-Max and it was fantastic for getting in and out of. Sure the standard C-Max is the same. You didnt have to step up or down to get in it, it was just at the right height.
