Thought we better keep this slightly up to date. Did another track day at Bedford on 20/11. Loads of changes since the last one and car felt so good, didn't miss a beat all day! The change of tyres made a huge difference and the track dried out before lunch so we could really test them out...

Collect from Oxfordshire ox3, ox33 or ox10

St 170 carriers, calipers, 300mm discs, mintex pads (not sure which ones). Freshly painted silver. £90.00 + p&p Will add pics later

Passenger door has always been temperamental but now it's given up. Handle is saggy and doesn't do anything (inside or outside) Luckily we've got no door cards etc so can see what's going on... The plastic nut shaped thing has come out of the hole which would then pull the latch. We can push it...

So the jacking point under the car seems awfully crumbly / soft. Anyone got any tips of what to do? Where else to Jack from? Would a garage or similar be able to weld on some chunky metal plates?

I saw Ed in Henley at the weekend. Not to speak to, just cycled past him! :grin:

We got our track ready Puma with cage, decent seats, ap coilovers, 300mm brake conversion for under 1k. Downside is we got basically no history with it, but it was dead cheap so could live with it if all went tits up!

Called up today, he's now put it in the couriers pile for tomorrow and should be here Friday :D

Still nothing. I didn't get a chance to call as work has been manic. Will call, but shouldn't have to.

Ordered a lower front brace on the 19th Jan from puma build, haven't heard a peep since. Anyone know the guy or had similar experience?

Awesome info, cheers! Probably just plain discs tbh, pumas only little :grin: Tyres are the 180 hard compound, hopefully they'll last a few days at least.

I've only really seen those discs on pumaspeed, any where else do them? Going to try out the nankang ns2r tyres as above, I've read pretty good things about them and they're fairly cheap

And picked up these 15" alloys this evening. So happy with them, just need to get the tyres fitted and see how they look on the car. Thanks to @sleeman :grin:

We've now received the mondeo st200 brake setup, so we can go 280mm discs and fit 15's without having to shave calipers etc. Managed to get carriers, calipers, discs and pads all for £80! According to another thread we just need to get a disc spacer of 3mm. Or replace discs with fiesta st150...

Ah interesting! So Mondeo st200 carriers and calipers, fiesta st150 discs? Sounds like a right mix and match!

Any chance you could get an internal diameter measurement? Worried about wheel fitting over 300mm discs, and from what I've read the propeller style ones are a veeery tight fit. Don't know about the gt15's though. Really appreciated!

They're ~£200 each from ford parts! As far as I've read so far, it's only the 300mm conversion that requires drilling knuckles and not the 280mm. Is that right?

Orange would be perfect for our Puma. Where are you based? I'm in Oxford. Cheers, it'd be great to see what they look like (have had a google, but worth checking)
