Hi Red, they haven't given me the final sentence, but im expecting the worst as she'sa19 years. the insurance company can say it's too old to fix, and write it off, however, the car can still be fixed as it's not been written off by a mechanic. This is the way it's been explained to me anyways...

The outer shell is smashed, boot sensor is showing open all the time. Light case needs replacing and then the rear subframe is... Buggered. That's why it's so dangerous to drive because the rear subframe is damaging the car everytime I drive it. So I don't now!

When's the next one? :)

Ok so I have a 1.4 1999 beauty. And someone went up her rear 4 weeks ago. The insurance want to write it off, but my mechanic says I should fight and find 3 Pumas, 1.4 at least 1998/2000 to show she's worth more than £200! Hey Alfie, I tried to use Gorilla glue but it slid all over the place wouldn't hold. My mechanic stuck it in but right now I'm back here again as it's fallen off again! He's saying if it falls off he'll get me a suction cap rear view. Oh the drama!

So my issue is that every time I speed up in my Puma, Kiara, I get a loud rumbling sound under the bonnet and I can feel a violent trembling in the foot pedals. Also the steering wheel vibrates more than usual, and this happens when I go over 50mph... It's gone down from 60mph. As a driver...

Ok so I seem to have a bog standard rear view mirror that doesn't rotate to fit my line of sight. I can't seem to move it at all, but I also can't just take it off, it's fixed into the window it seems. Any suggestions?

Hey thanks for replying! I don't have another key fob, but will try eBay for a second fairly newish one. But I'll go Timpsons and see what they say. I have tried to reprogramme the fob, which worked for a week but then I think the battery went. Thank you both!

Ok, thanks for the heads up. I've told my part er about this as he uses the M25 strip a lot.

I'm going to try this method on my 2000 puma. Timpsons cleaned out the battery area inside and said I could reprogramming it so from these comments it seems fairly straightforward! I'll post my success/failure

Call 999 while driving??

Hi Newbie Raven here! I have bought my first Puma, Kiara. She's a brilliant car but the locks are a bit dodgy. I struggle getting the key out of the lock, plus the fob isn't working. Where can I get the fob and lock sorted that's not going to cost hundreds?
