Hi XAF i would guess at about 50-60 hours of labour , I have two apprentices who have been involved with the Puma led by my technicians. It has been a really rewarding job to see it come from where it was to the nearly finished article

The Puma has come on even more, Rear hybrid bumper has been primed and painted along with the spoiler and fitted, The lower section of the Modified bumper is off a MK6 Fiesta so all the lights work also . High glossed black lower diffuser and fitted a nice exhaust into place.....sounds great...

2nd colour applied to the rear and spoiler dry fitted, having a few issues with our wheel spacers for the front which i am sorting so hopefully next stages we will have all 4 refurbed alloys on

The Puma is taking shape ..Front end painted and started the refit Replace the orange repeaters with clear. Not happy with the wheel colour they look off white to the body so we will be repainting all 4. Both headlamps were dull common issue so they have been prepped and re lacquered

Hi you will need to use steel sheeting if you try to use aluminium you will not be able to mig weld this as it will simply blow holes in the aluminium, also you can not weld ally to steel. hope this helps

The Puma will not be scrapped at the end of the rally ....too much work has gone into it. It will be sold at the end to raise more money for our nominated charity. Hopefully by the end of this week we should have the whole body painted

Rear bumper mock up , Top half is the original Puma bumper and the lower is off a Fiesta . These have been welded together using the Nitrogen plastic welder. The bumper will be filled using plastic filler as this will give added strength. I will add more images of the filling and preparation...

We have started the paint work on the Puma , The roof and tailgate apertures have been painted in black, The door shuts are green , we will now paint the inside of the doors before hanging them then the bodywork

The mock up on the rear not happy with the splitter , De wipered and and removed brakelight , also added a small spoiler

The Gemini Puma is really moving, Currently we are prepping the body for the repaint , this will include all the door shuts and tailgate apertures so we will get a really professional job. Still in a dilemma about the rear bumper and what to do with it as we have cut a large hole for a rear...

The wheels have come back from being refurbed .Also had the spare steel wheel refurbished. Hopefully we will be getting the spacers next week however I have seen on this forum that we might need bigger spacers than 20mm in case they catch , any advise would be welcome
