Does anyone know of a 4wd gearbox that would bolt straight up to the duratec 2.0 HE keeping it transversly mounted? I toyed with the idea of adapting an evo box to fit but it would need an adapter plate in the middle so i dont think there would be space

Im thinking about building a 1.7 turbo to put in my project car, iv found lower comp pistons for it but am i right in thinking the cylinder bores need to be honed/deglazed? With the cylinders being nikasil coated is it ok to deglaze them? Cheers Ricky

Hi all, just looking for some tips/advice on fitting a 4-2-1 manifold. Iv got the old one out and the new one pretty much in but i just cant get it to slide onto the studs in the head. Iv undone the torque link and tilted the engine but still no joy. Any ideas or should i just keep trying?

Is it possible to tell by looking if an injector has been used? G Bought a fuel rail on ebay because it was really cheap with the thought to get the injectors ultrasonically cleaned to see if it makes a difference but theyve got little blue protective caps on and look like there new.

I am replacing my brake pipes from the old steel ones that have rusted through to copper ones but i have noticed the fuel lines look as bad so my question is what size are the fuel lines? And is there anything i should know before i start? Cheers

Hi all, i have just fitted braded hoses all round and had to replace 2 copper lines in the process, all was going well. I bled the system using an eezibleed and cant see any leaks but the pedal still hits the floor. Anyone got any ideas? Cheers Ricky

Iv got 2 creaky bottom arm ball joints, i thought about replacing them with bolt on ones but im sure iv read somewhere that they have a bad effect on handling. Does anyone have any opinions on them?
