When I talk of 'brightness' I mean reflected brightness off objects, not looking into the light with your eyes...real world reversing light use rather than looking 'cool'. I'm sure you already know the technicalities of lighting with regards to colour temperature and the human eye. I'll believe...

Oooer! You need a remarkably small amount of velcro to hold plates on. You should see how much I use for my front plate :P

Not hot enough to melt aluminium and hot enough to need a heat shield. I'd imagine the cabin would get uncomfortably hot in summer without the heat shields too.

I can almost certainly guarantee the white LEDs won't be good enough to see by for reversing unless the very latest type (used in headlamps/drls) are used. I'd be interested in the rear/indicator arrays though if they as bright enough. I hope these will be top quality grade LEDs used too...

Without a doubt the wire/connector belogs to the boot solenoid which is situated on the rear panel on the left hand side, behind the rear bumper. It looks like the rear bunmper was removed at some point and replaced with the boot solenoid wire trapped in the wrong position. If you can unplug...
