Imo the c/f wrap thing has run its course it looks nice...

    Project Puma Private Track day

I would be up for this how about Croft?, or somewhere central ? Or would it be better to decide on a pre-arranged day and invade it like locusts to keep the cost down,(i know this would deviate from a puma only day but may generate more interest). Fair play for trying to sort something by the...

  12. jboy01

    Jboys Puma

sorry mate confused, the brace will shear or the harness ?, as the brace is 1 1/2" iron. Or do you mean the mounts?

    Jboys Puma

Just another update on the progress of the puma...... After being let down on a deal for a roll cage which i was planning to mount the harnesses on, i decided to fabricate my own heavy duty rear strut brace. Also had a go at making some tow eyes. Graphics now fitted And a pic of the...

    My Puma.. Maximum Track Attack!!

looking good Jay :ok: Problems with the spacers ? are you on 17s?
  15. jboy01

to de-cat or not too de-cat that is the question

Do you have any other mods, or have you had the car remapped?. This is quite a big debate mine feels alot more responsive but that could just be me. I think the gains are minimal if any but i think its definatly a job worth doing on my car, but as for a road car ,not so much it would be to much...

    Battery Box

Sounds good mate yea dropped 80mm on standard 15s and its a standard puma with 20mm axle spacers still got about an inch between the tyre and the arch but its going to be trial and error on track thats why i got adjustables. :ok:
  17. jboy01

    Battery Box

Agreed i think i need to devise a cover or put my hand in my pocket for a setup like yours.
  18. jboy01

    Battery Box

The battery is secure, thats not the issue if anything its more secure than a flimsy grp box bolted to the chassis its just i need it covered incase the battery decides to take a piss. It had crossed my mind lol

    Jboys Puma

Cheers mate Your right about the garage bit, there was a few cold weekends and late nights went into her, but im sure it will be worth it. Just need to fit the 4 points now and a battery issue to resolve. Spent the last few weekends making sure the trailer is up to scratch.
