might be a bit late to post but try the mass air flow sensor. i had the same problem last week, car wouldnt rev past 5k changed the sensor and its fine

i sanded mine down, finished with 2500 grit, then polished with G6 and G3, i laqcuered one and left the other uncoated, come out nice

are there any fault codes/lights on the dash? whats the fuel consumption like as i had to change a lambda sensor when mine started running rough with flatspots and wanting to stall.

Does anyone have any more info regarding the older type servo/mc? are the servos the same on new and old types or are is that different too? thanks again

yeah, me and dad have bled them a few times now, im wondering if its the servo as you're probably running the earlier model one like i had read about earlier, which is meant to be better suited to the larger mondeo calipers. thanks

Hi everyone, Ive just upgraded to the 300mm mondeo brakes, they stop fine when you stomp on them, but before they even come on i've to press the pedal about halfway down. i've done a bit of reading and i've sort of gathered i'm better with the older style brake servo/master cylinder for these...
