door card trim clips

Hiya,

Has anybody else found that the Ford door card trim clips seem - well flimsy in comparison to other cars trim clips?

Has anybody else used any other door card trim clip other the Ford ones or is there a way of making them fit "tighter"?

Don't let people slam the doors! Easier said than done I know :-( You can buy cheap clips from Ebay - they do the job (as long as people don't keep slamming the doors!!) or go to Ford Parts UK where you can buy the Ford ones @ £1.31 each (or at least they were last year)

The original Puma door trim clips were 2-part, hence the price! One piece attached to the metal door, and the other to the trim and then to the door piece.
You could try the following, which appear to have a "rubber" washer, so should help prevent vibration/rattles, if they fit the Puma.

Or you can tape the doorcards fixation points over before inserting the clips...
