This was mentioned earlier but I thought a separate heads-up might be appreciated.

I picked up a "recycle your old phone" bag at Sainsbury, and checking online found my Nokia 5800 to be worth £71.

I was just about to parcel it up and send it off when I heard on the radio that there are many people in the market, some honest, some less so.

Zoom over to Martin Lewis's invaluable site and read the reviwes there and there is no doubt that

rates highly.

So I got a price from them for the Nokia online - £85. Mailed it off, had an acknowledgement the next day by e-mail and a full payment cheque in my hands the following day.

Since then I have unearthed a 6300 and a Motorola Razr and now (1.75 days later) have another cheque for nearly £40 to pay in.

No need for the box, the instructions, the software, the charger. Just the phone in working condition.

Have a look for all those phones you were going to put on e-bay but have never got around to.

these guys are good aswell, and can money into your bank account..

£10 less for the Nokia 5800, £4 more for the 6300, £2 more for the Motorola.

Pays to shop around by model, clearly.
