About time something was done. Should be an instant 3 months ban - no ifs or buts. That should stir up the awareness pretty quickly.

I've seen more bad driving due to people on their phones than any other reason you care to mention. I've "soft" brake checked quite a few in the past & I got great pleasure out of the shock they get when nearly rear ending me

Pity/glad I rarely drive now as when I do I see more & more on the phone despite it being against the law. I've said it before & I'll say it again, smart phones have made society regress.
