Hello everybody!

My name is Mauro, and I'm from Italy.
I own a Puma since 2000, when she was brand new. It's a 1.4 liter moondust with some tuning.
I subscribed this forum because I'd like to exchange somthing about this lovely car :)
Situation here has bit cool down, but I have the impression that in uk there still something moving.

After all this years, we two have been trough a lot of fun&desp... I'd like to share few laps i did last days at Autodromo Nazionale Di Monza

Have a good day and sorry for any mistake :p
Ciao!

Welcome Mauro ;)

If you have any pictures of your car please feel free to show us them as we all like to see what other people do. We have had some really different ones on the site lately from people overseas and it's refreshing to see different modifications than what we are used to seeing in the UK ;)

Hello mates,
today I've made some pictures, sorry about location, it's the parking where I do work  about the grey sky you should be used over there hehe... (I worked for frew moths in uk, Gloucester and Wisbech)

Only skirts, rearmirrors and rims. Interior nothing except the aluminium (real) carpets. Those mirrors are for 3 people out of 4 a joke, but I really like them :p

New rims mounted 1 month ago 15x6.5" : MomoCorse Something...

The new suspensions I've installed last saturday, KW Step1 Inox, my first serious setup... the car beahviour changed drammatically!

And this little rascal is my mascotte, obviously an octopus with a wirdo expression!

I hope you like the pictures and my ride.
Does it meet the uk taste?

Bye!

I like the wheels....and I don't mind the mirrors either, they're certainly different ;)

Oh thanks, I think you are into the 1/4 group
Onestly, outside the car satisfy me, the problem is the engine witch is a 'lung' as we say here in Italy, now it has about 76kmiles, and sadly I didn't care about it that much the first years because I was young and stupid.

I think that the most convinient way to significantly improve the performance of my car is to swap the engine.
I see an 1700 vct, focus st170, and as hiend fiesta st150 engines as most possible candidates.

Do you know some engineswap story went well here on the forum?

Little update.
I set up a new pb in monza witch is 2:46.798, a pretty good time for my little 1.4, in fact i'm quite close to the 500 abarth (i think the 135cv not the 160cv)

What do you think?

Not sure if that's a good time or not as Monza is a very fast circuit with minimal corners but it is obvious that the Puma has brilliant handling in the corners that are there as we all know. Many a Puma has suprised MUCH faster cars on the twisties ;)

Hello folks :)
Today on really wet track i've take some risk but also few little revenges... hihi glory glory to the puma
