With regret, I'm selling one of the best cars I've ever owned. Unfortunately, it's just not practical enough for my change in circumstances, and I don't want to subject it to a 40-mile round-trip daily commute (which I now have a company car for). It's too good for that!
I bought it in November 2011 with 34600 on the clock. It had been garaged by it's 2 former owners, though I have been unable to continue this. It has a full service history; before I got it, it had 4000 or 5000 miles put on it each year, but still serviced every year! The odometer reads 76500 miles now, and I've thoroughly enjoyed it adding those extra miles. It is in very good condition considering it's age, and doesn't have the normal rust around the wheel arches that I see on many other Pumas. It does have some cosmetic damage - stone chips, a couple of scrapes on the bumpers (front corners and around the boot opening, see pictures), but most everything else would 'buff out'. The plastic wheel centres have lost some of their paint, due to pressure washing. Inside, everything is tidy too, though a couple of the fastener covers on the door cards have fallen off and disappeared.

Highlights:
MOT due for renewal - April 18th 2015
Taxed until end of November
Cam belt done at 10 years - 09/10/2009, 31316 miles
ABS pump unit failed, replaced with second hand unit (bought through forums) - 03/08/2012, 45666 miles
4 x Michelin Pilot Exalto tyres - rears have plenty of tread, fronts are half worn
Last MOT highlighted a few problems, and the following work was done: new exhaust, OSF lower suspension ball joint dust cover replaced, NSF upper suspension mount replaced (movement).

Problems:
It was last fully serviced at 62111 miles, 21/6/13, so it is due a service. I haven't used it much in the last few months, as I have a second car.
Last MOT advisories: OSF CV joint gaiter deteriorated, slight underbody corrosion, all metal brake pipes slightly corroded (I think the MOT tester is just covering themselves with these last two, there isn't much sign of either, as far as I can see!)
I've also had that bugbear of many Puma owners; water leaks into the front footwells. I think this has finally been cured - it didn't seem to leak at all in the last few weeks, and we've had quite a lot of rain recently - but I can't guarantee it. Some of the sound insulation was rotten and has been removed from under the drivers and passengers feet, but the floorpan has no evidence of rust.

If I could, I would keep this car, but it has to live outside, is barely getting driven, and I don't think it deserves that! I would love for an enthusiast to own it, and have as much fun in it as I have. The car is in Bristol, and I'm looking for offers around £950. Thanks for reading! Please send me a PM, and I'll send you my phone number if you want to discuss the car.

Here's some pictures. These show the carpet out of the car, when I was fixing the water leak earlier in August. The carpet is back in the car now.

Would an asking price of around £800 improve my chances of selling? Also, clutch and slave cylinder was replaced at 71888 miles.

Lots of views, but no takers? £750? Any feedback regarding price, or why it's not selling, would be greatly appreciated. At this rate I'll have to put it in the shed where my Mk1 Escort used to be... for 18 years!

It's a nice looking example mate. Problem with selling any decent Puma at the moment is there are hundreds of them available at rock bottom prices. One tip if you want a good price for it would be to just spray the wheel centres. They really let down what otherwise looks like a great little car! Good luck with the sale.

Thanks for the feedback. I'm getting the wheel centres sprayed up by a mate today. In the end, If I don't get any interest, I'm very tempted to do what you've done to yours - it looks ace! Though it may have to go into storage for a couple of years, until I can get myself a garage...
