rear light mod

i took the clear cover off the lights and tapped lenses and sprayed same colour as Chrisine


Then i took out the orange lenses and put reversing clear lenses in with orange bulbs



Christine still coming on well

Hi there Jason, I like the modification, taking off the rear lens and respraying the lens holders, but I think removing the original orange lens and replacing them for clear lens with orange bulbs weakens the overall look. I think your first photo with the original orange lens looks stronger and more purposeful, especially as you car appears to be painted in Imperial Blue (Ford Blue).
Maybe the clear lens part of your mod would look more striking on a Puma painted Moondust Silver? It's just a thought.

Its not bad, like morette lights. Are they still a thing? Always wanted them for my Ka back in the day.

Not really my thing but my tastes have changed somewhat over the years. :wink:

The indicator and reverse lenses only clip in and are not weather proof. Seal round them with some clear silicone!
