Copied from DW for your Puma-Porn intake...
Read through the studio thread and got some inspiration, so...
400 miles of driving to my partners house and back every night, and a random drive to oxford last night resulted in this..
AG Insect remover was sprayed over the front end and left to dwell whilst I got the pressure washer out.
The car was rinsed off with the pressure washer. Protection still evident.
Wheels and tyres were then cleaned with bilberry, apc and brushes
Tardis was then applied to the lower half of the car
The car was rinsed after a few minutes, and foamed.
I went around the tightwork with APC and varying brushes, and re-rinsed.
Beading and sheeting dramatically reduced already
Washing was prepared
Then cracked out some soft clay and my favourite lubricant...
Front pass. wing/door bottom
Rear wheel splatter areas (pretty much the whole rear bumper thanks to the curved shape!!
but still pretty good. Apart from the same areas on the passenger side the clay stayed clean the whole way.
my rapidly dieing blowing machine in shot
Naked car.
I then had a go with LPL to get rid of the watermarks, but the sun was shining, and drying it on so it wouldn't buff. So I put it away.
Took an opening shot expecting greatness though...
I tried Ultra Deep Shine too with equally bad results.
So, Black Hole was used by hand.
L-Hand naked, R-H Black Hole. You can apply it in the sun!!!
Very pleased with the finish that left.
Onto EGP
was so tempted to drive around like this for the afternoon and stop there! But carried on.
I then made a little post in GD about wax. More on that later.
EGP was buffed off, and wax was applied.
whilst that was curing, some trim gel was applied here, some glass polish there and tyre gel in-between.
Wax was buffed off...
v7 wipedown
The wax used was Hard Kandy. And good choice too!
