boot problem

can any one tell me where the boot cable is as my fella needs to climb in the boot to open the boot door as it wont open even with the key,the lock has siezed,also have you any thoughts on what might be wrong.

If your looking at the boot from the inside, you need to remove the carpet on the left (Drivers Side) IIRC you need to unscrew some off the black plastic panel situated at the bottom middle of the boot to allow the carpet to pulled to one side, once the carpet is out the way you should be able to see mechanism for the boot, a quick tug on the silver cable should release the boot.
