Car keeps unlocking and locking

Just unlocked my car with the remote got in to find the inside door handled repeateedly going in and out.
Anyone else had this and know what it is and how to cure it?

The seat belt clip isn't jammed in the door is it? or anything else for that matter. If the doors not shutting 100% this can cause similar symptoms although it would only re-open and not repeatedly open/close.

A sticking door lock can cause this too,The passenger side is a good culprit!

Thanks for advice , Oilburner I think you were right as after fiddling with passenger door lock its stopped.

I am having the same problem. What did you do with the lock?

Anyone else any experience of this? A google search shows it is a common issue particularly with fords. Many people talk of lubricating the mechanism but having taken off the driver's door panel I am not sure what needs lubricating?

Try spraying in the lock where you put the in the door with WD40.
