Who is the event organised by John? I thought you were talking about a Puma meeting, but sounds good.
Are you aware of The Classic Motor Hub gatherings at Old Walls, Albilington, Bibury (classicmotorhub.com).
Next one is May 5th - Motor Hub Ride in Day. They have a cafe and exotic (classic) cars for sale.
I expect that is busy. Haven't been myself as yet.
I've been to the Classic Motor Hub, twice for free, but I believe that now they charge £10 entry, so won't be going back.
The event at Hook Norton Classics is free and run by the group, in March we had 5 Puma's there, normally there are at least 2 of us, Kevin Leek and myself are regulars. There aren't many Puma meetings, a group go the Isle of Wight Takeover and Ford Fair at Silverstone.
As far as I know, there are only about 2,000 Puma's left on the road in the UK, some of which aren't owned by enthusiats, so it's very rare to see one on the road, which is why I publicise events that we're going to.
I and a few other Puma's usually go to the Gaydon Gatherings at the British Motor museum, 2nd Tuesday of the month from April to October, it's free, but you have to book a ticket, I always do a post when the tickets are available, most Puma's we've had there was 5 including 2 FRPs.
On July 21st, there is the Old Ford rally at Gaydon, it's for pre 95 Ford's, but we park in a different car park, last year we had a lot of interest in our Puma's, which was the first time we'd tried this event. This year entry costs £10, which also gives you full access to the Museum and the Rootes Heritage show, so it gets very busy, a good event to attend.
Please try and give Hook Norton a try, it's a wonderful location and of all the events I go to, is by far the best regular meet, photos from last Sunday.
