Ford Fiesta ST 150 front brakes n calipers

I have 16 inch Fiesta-style rims with 20 mm spacers (just to keep the original width). Would the ST150 calipers and carriers fit normally with Puma hoses? The ST-150 disc size is ø 278mm, isn't it?

    Puma 1.7 Cam Belt change

Yeah, in the end I also had mine changed a month ago. 500 euros. Specially for the belt tensioners everybody told me snap before the belts themselves. My Pumita is now only a toy, I can't go inside the cities nearby, but I have all the curves around the hills where I live.

    Puma 1.7 Cam Belt change

Guys, I have a big dilemma: My car is a '00 1,7 Futura MHA, 130'000 km (81'000 miles) from Germany whose belts have never been changed. My problem is I am trying for months to find a replacement car with the MHB engine, Euro 3. All because my MHA can no longer circulate in Barcelona or Sant...

ROD ENDS: Original Ford, Febi-Bilstein, Delphi or smtg else

Hi, I injured my little Puma and one of the pieces the local Ford Garage cannot locate are the rod ends (1020174 and 1020175), Ford says they need to be replaced. It's hard to find original spare parts but if you search a lot you can find a few. If everything were available and price were not...

Euro 5 compliance kit: exhaust catalyst

BTW: Message to the administrators. I know you try to adapt everything in good faith but I didn't call this thread "Euro 5 compliance kit: exhaust catalyst" I know you act in the best of faiths and want to simply categorise everything well. But unfortunately it is misleading, Presently I...

Euro 5 compliance kit: exhaust catalyst

Thanks. Yeah, that is exactly what I am trying to find out here locally. I haven't found anything. It seems most people don't bother and get rid of their cars. But I don't want to. I love my Puma.

Euro 5 compliance kit: exhaust catalyst

Thanks for the reply but I am not sure I understand you. Or if you do me. I want the easiest possible conversion so that I can keep driving my car. I thought adding a lambda would be easiest/most economical. I thought the MoT equivalent (ITV, like TüV) would also sanction the so called...

    MHA & MHB engines

Does anyone know to tell a MHB apart from a MHA?. I have conflicting information of when this transition was implemented in every country. My car is German, I live in Barcelona. In case my car were MHA: do you happen to know if I can convert it to MHB by adding a lambda sonde? Any info is...

Euro 5 compliance kit: exhaust catalyst

Hi everybody, I find myself terribly depressed. I damaged my little and beloved Pumita a week ago (I stupidly thought the car had stopped, reached for a cushion on the floor and hit a tree) The damage is far, far more serious than I could imagine. The official Ford garage (who are yet to...

Ford Puma 1.7 from 1998 European Emission Standard

Hi, have you had any news regarding your Puma? I have the exact same problem: I own a '00 1,7 and starting today my car is not allowed to enter Barcelona. I don't know what to do.

    Dangerous amounts of rust?

And I know this comment comes way late. But for anyone with the same problem in the future. To be honest I got a bit shocked. Sorry for the car. I'm told Scandinavian countries cover all roads with salt during longer periods and hence the difference. My second Puma (the first one was...

THE QUEST FOR THE LOWER SEAT

In the end I never fitted the Recaros i bought from a last-gen Escort (not Cossie, perhaps XR3i, can't remember) because I measured the height and it seemed the exact same as my leather Puma-OEM Recaros. In the end the OEM Recaros are high, the kidney support gets destroyed very soon (the...
